The kit is built for ages 7–12, and every project has three versions: Scribe it (7–8, they dictate and you write), as written (9–10), and Level up (11–12). Younger kids (5–7) can join with a parent as scribe. Older kids (12–14) should use Level up so it does not feel like a worksheet.
Just a computer or tablet with internet access, paper and pencil, and about 45-60 minutes per project. A printer is helpful for worksheets but not required — every page can be read on screen.
